French Bender

A French Bender comprises of rotary cams bends all your rods in a lumbar application. The bender is a manually-operated surgical instrument designed to bend orthopaedic devices, typically those for implantation (e.g., orthopaedic rods, bone fixation plates), to an appropriate anatomical shape. For spinal fusion or the correction of spine deformity at multiple levels, intraoperative rod contouring is required to realign the spine. A bender is the most common contouring tool used. The French Bender is made for medical uses.
